UNC vs NC State

This morning I did my small preview of the game between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the North Carolina State Wolfpack. I thought that the Las Vegas odds makers had it right with their prediction of Carolina being a 2 points favorite in this game at the RBC Center. I saw that spread as well, thinking that UNC would beat State by a duece, 76 to 74. But enough of me, enough of the Vegas insiders, it’s time to turn it over to the people that I call “The Prediction Panel”. Right now there are six eight nine ten eleven twitters/bloggers that have made their choice, and probably there will be more by the time the game is under way…

• Daniel Cox, a Tar Heel fan, says Heels 97-76 and put together their 1st all around team victory in ACC play!.
• Justin Young, editor of ACC Sports, says I’m predicting big games from Deon and Graves, w/ contribution from Strickland. 80-71 UNC.
• Joe K, Tar Heel fan, DJ and owner of the blog named What it is Radio, says UNC beats NC State tonight in a close one.
• The Beat of N.Y, a newspaper man for over two decades, says Carolina proves that they are still NCAA bound, winning by six, 82 to 76.
• Kris Willis, a Heel fan and Atlanta Hawks blogger over at Soaring down South, says hmm ok still going to predict a UNC victory (after he found out that Davis was still a game time decision).
• R.L. Bynum, copy editor at the Newport News Daily Press, a runner who has completed 23 marathons and a big fan of sports and politics, who also has a blog named Running Tar Heel, says Too scared to make one. I’m just hoping. (Yikes! Too scared! Yikes!).
• sc ACC Hoops, a good blogger that has a site by the same name, says NC State wins 74-71.
• Andrew Rosin (aka thegnc), owner of the blog called The Grand National Championship, says 71-69 State. Javi Gonzalez ices it with a three.
• Chris Dobbertean, Editor of BloggingtheBracket.com and college hoops content at SBNation.com, says NC State does it again. 76-71 over the Heels at home.
• Doc Funk, a sports fan who has a blog that goes by the same name, says Not touching ACC games this year. There are no gimmes.
• Jason Peck, a UNC fan with a site called Take a Peck, says 74-69 UNC.
