UNC vs VaTech
I could not get a preview done for this game, mostly because I had many real life things going on (those of you that know my situation will know what I am talking about. But I was able, thanks to the help of many great people around Twitter, to get yet again another Prediction Panel for the game between North Carolina and Virginia Tech. The Vegas insiders have the Tar Heels as a 3.5 points underdogs, I see Carolina taking this game by 2-3 points, with the final score being North Carolina 74 Virginia Tech 71. But all of this is useless, since the only thing that count in this post is what the panel of twitterers/bloggers have to say. So, without further ado, here are the eightnine ten panelists and their words of wisdom…
(Click on the panelist’s name to see their twitter page and on the name of their web site to go check it out)
The Rafters, a UNC fan who has a blog by the same name, says I think what we’ve all come to expect (hope) is a turnaround. Confidence from beating before them will carry us to victory!.
Andrew Skwara, one of the many writers at ACC Sports Journal, says VT 74, UNC 70.
Daniel Cox, a Tar Heel fan, says n the words of Genesis and Phil Collins, “I can feel it coming in the air tonight!” Heels 76-69!!!.
R.L. Bynum, copy editor at the Newport News Daily Press, a runner who has completed 23 marathons and owner of the site called Running Tar Heel, says The last time I said I was too scared to make a prediction — the N.C. State game — it worked out well. So I’m going with that.
Ray Burley Jr, a Carolina fan, says At least I might get the winner right one of these times. Heels 74 Tech 70. Thanks.
Jim Young, editor of the site ACC Sports Journal, says Virginia Tech 72, UNC 68. Thank me later when the Heels win.. (I hope I will be thanking you!)
SCACC Hoops, owner of the site that goes by the same name, says Virginia Tech 74 UNC 63.
