The Prediction Panel: GaTech/UNC

While you can find my prediction in my preview it is time to turn it over to almost world famous “The Prediction Panel”, who this time is composed of about ten twitters/bloggers altogether. From the internet the spread of this game is North Carolina by 6.5 points over Georgia Tech. From what I have read of the predictions so far all of them are staying pretty close to that range, for the most part believing Carolina will win but not cover the spread. But enough of my talk, here is what they say…

  • Raphielle Johnson, assistant editor at College Hoops Net, says: Carolina wins 74 to 68.
  • Buffy, local beat writer, says: 75 to 74 for North Carolina.
  • DockSquad, owner of the site with the same name, says: Carolina in a close one.
  • Jason Peck, owner of the blog named Take a Peck, says: 82 to 76 for Carolina.
  • The Rafters, who has a web site about UNC with the same name, says: will be a really close game. Coming down to five points. Luckily we have bigs to battle lawal/favors.
  • Joe Kendrick, who is a disc jockey at WNCW and has a web site called What it is Radio, says: redemption time, imho.
  • Daniel Cox a big time Heel fan, says: After the Clemson game I am scared to even guess! Undefeated @ home so far. GT beat Dook in Ga. I say Heels 85-78!
  • scACCHoops, owner of an ACC BB site by the same name, says: I like UNC to win 83-73 today.
  • Chris Dobbertean, Editor of BloggingtheBracket.com and college hoops content at SBNation.com, says: UNC 75, GT 70 Yellow Jackets put up a fight, but can’t get second straight Saturday win in Chapel Hill.
  • Joe, owner of Rush The Court, says: Missed my last one badly! But off a loss and at home…hard to beat. But I think it’ll be REAL close.
  • Jim Young, editor of ACC Sports Journal, says: Pain for Georgia Tech. 90-75 UNC.
