The Heels drop 2 out of 3 versus the `Noles and are below .500 in ACC play. Once again men left on the bases was a major thing in the three game series

Diamond Heels ranked in the Polls
With the season about three weeks away two polls have the Heels ranked in the Top 20. It should be a good season for this young team under head coach Mike Fox
The road ends for the Diamond Heels
After losing 12-5 to ASU last night the Tar Heels head home without bringing home the national trohpy. I might have eluded them once again, but I am sure that head coach Mike Fox won’t be too long before going back to Omaha.
Carolina hosting regional
North Carolina will be hosting one of the regional sites as the four seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Other teams are: Darmouth, Kansas and Coastal Carolina

Fourth ranked UNC lost 3-1 in the first game, plays BC once again this afternoon
Heels vs Eagles in a three game series to end season
With a final three game series against Boston College the Heels have the chance to get top seed in the ACC Post Season Tourney
