Ed Davis
For those of you that do not believe too much in Ed Davis’ decision to go pro (and there are many of you out there) here is a small tidbit to try to convince you otherwise. In an article by the Real GM that indicates the the San Antonio Spurs are doing all they can in order to get high enough in the draft to get the 6’9″ power forward. From what I could tell it seems that the Spurs are trying to work something out with the Pacers, who have the 10th pick overall. Now, I am not sure how that is going to work out since it seems that Indiana could be willing to give that pick to Denver order to acquire Ty Lawson (as I wrote in this post earlier today). But my point in writing this was to show that Davis might just be a bit more likable/wanted than a lot of people have made him out to be. Then again, we will not know anything until the picks are made on June 24th.
As I do with all the Tar Heels let me wish all the best to Ed Davis as he approaches this new chapter of his life.
