Larry Drew II (GoogleSearch)

Well, as I said in my post yesterday I am always more into articles with “hard facts” than ones that have “sources”, even if they are proposed to the public as being reliable ones. Last night I posted what Buster Sports said about Larry Drew II transferring to another school on the West Coast. Well, today, less than a day of this story “breaking” not from an unknown source close to the story, but from the point guard himself comes the reply to the blog’s theory of him leaving Chapel Hill: “no“. And from what I found on WRAL, Drew also said this about the story that had been unleashed the night before:

“Some of the stuff that the guy put in there is just so ridiculously false,” Drew said. “It’s just crazy – like my parents are involved in an unhealthy way? That’s not true at all. They said my girlfriend is an influential figure. I don’t have a girlfriend. Why would they put up that?”

I could go on and on about this, cause a “I told you so” would be fitting in all of this. Or “where is the apology now”, but I would just be wasting my time in writing it and your time in reading it. So, I will just leave it at someone had “close to the situation, reliable sources” and someone else was “hard facts” and I will let you decide who I believe.
