Should HC Williams ever change job…

Last week head coach Roy Williams had been on the Mike & Mike in the Morning show and during the interview he told the Eric Kesulias and Mike Golic that he was going to coach “eight to ten more years”. I believe that brought a smile to all the Tar Heel fans, while probably not making the rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference too happy. However this summer you might just see coach Williams, along with some other coaches, touring the country as a rock band. Here is a small preview of it:

Of course I am joking, about the touring that is, but you have to say that this commercial is pretty funny, and seeing these Hall of Famers, as well as future HoF in Rick Pitino, made me smile/shake my head/laugh while  thinking that whomever had the idea about doing this is a genius. But it’s not the first time that some of these coaches have done some good commercials. Bobby Knight’s one with the old Volkswagen where he throws the chair was great, as well as Rick Pitino’s cameo apperance in the Christian Laettner “the shot” is also good. I have to say that watching the commercial with the four coaches really makes me understand how secure they are of themselves, because you have to be just that in order to do a commercial in your underwear at their age. I truly believe that many others would not have been able to pull it off, and personally I tip my hat to all of them for having done this.
