Remembering Eve…

This is a sports blog, but in the end it’s one about the University of North Carolina. This is a site that talks about the “Carolina Way/Family” over and over. A small space in the internet where the blogger fully believes in the “Carolina Way/Family”, and tries to live it by its motto. It’s a blog that mourns the senseless death of both Jason Ray and Eve Carson. Today marks the second anniversary of the death of Eve, killed in a car jack, so while a thief got a hunk of metal us Tar Heels lost one of ours, and a young woman that was special, very special. How do I know that? Read this below (given to me by GoTKGo) and you will see why she was special…

Read and re-read those words. It shows that to her the school was something great, the teams, the atmosphere were all great things, but what was just as special was “us”. All of us have a chance to make a difference if we choose to do so. Eve Carson was one of those people that chose to do that and she did make a heck of a difference in the lives she touched. UNC has dedicated a garden in her memory. This humble blogger will keep her memory alive on this blog, cause while I never met Eve her ways, her attitude and her words (read above) changed me, and for thank I wish to thank her.
