Nicks’ knee is “fine” and he is back to practice

As the Tar Heel fan base sets itself for the pre-season here is some news for those of you that also watch the ex Carolina players at the next level. Giant’s wide out Hakeem Nicks seems set to get it going this pre-season after two MRIs showed that his knee is fine, or so says this small blur on NBC Sports. Nicks could be back practicing today and that could be a very good thing for him as one of his main competition for playing time, Mario Manningham, will still be out! As I do with all Tar Heels let me wish all the best to Hakeem Nicks as he goes back to practice and on the upcoming season with the New York Giants.
