Lawson sprains thumb…

This year if I say injury and Tar Heel not many people would be surprised, as head coach Roy Williams has had to deal with more players being hurt than ever before in his career as a coach. But this time when I talk about injury I am talking about one of Williams’ ex players, as rookie point guard Ty Lawson sprained his left thumb during practice yesterday. From what I could find out this is nothing too serious, but the speedster from Maryland could miss the game against the Golden State Warriors tomorrow. If I find out more about this injury I will make sure to post it right here on The Fifth Corner. Until then, as I do with all the Tar Heels, let me wish all the best for a speedy recovery to Lawson.
