Lawson & Ellington have agents

As of right now I have found that both Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington have hired an agent, while the two seniors from last season’s national championship team, Tyler Hansbrough and Danny Green, have not. Here is the list with all the players that have hired an agent as of yesterday, May 6th, 2009. As far as Ty Lawson is going with Jeff Fried, who from a small article on ESPN, was hired a couple of weeks ago. Fried works with Peake Management Group, and has had many big time players has his clients. Meanwhile Wayne Ellington’s agent is Arn Tellem, who is recognized as one of the most influential and respected sports agents in the world, having negotiated some of the biggest deals in the history of both the NBA and MLB. Tellem has been the agent for ex Carolina basketball players such as Antawn Jamison and Sean May.

As more information, both on Lawson and Ellington as well as Hansbrough and Green, comes out I will make sure to update you all on it. For now, to all four of these young men all the best as they come closer and closer to becoming NBA players, joining another eleven ex Tar Heels are already in the association.
