Individual UNC Football tickets going fast

While “Agent Gate” might have done some damage to how the so-called experts and the media might see Carolina doing this year, it does not seem to have affected how the fan base is looking at their Tar Heels. Individual football tickets went on sale today and from the looks of it people are buying them right up. Head coach Butch Davis and his squad will be at home to face 1AA William & Mary (with ex UNC quarterback Mike Paulus), in-state rivals East Carolina as well as ACC foes NC State, Ga Tech, Va Tech and Clemson (which from an article on WCHL seems to almost be sold out). So, between some very good games and the way the team is shaping up (barring some other surprises from the NCAA), it only makes sense that tickets would go and go fast.

I am sure that all die hard Heels fans are knocking at the door to get their tickets, which are $ 50 for any home game. Writing this small post does make me kind of sad, wishing I was able to attend the games as well. But I will definitely be there in spirit and watching on the tube, cause this could still be a great year for Carolina gridiron!
