And we are once again back at looking at the ex Carolina players now in the National Basketball Association in my daily post called “Heels in the League” (NBA). In this edition we are looking at the games from yesterday, Sunday, March 21, 2010, where in all there were seven games. Of those seven games four had a touch of Carolina Blue, however none were head to head match ups. For those of you that like the full version of what happened you can always check out the World Leader in Sports’ Scoreboard Page for a complete recap. For, here is this edition of “Heels in the League” (NBA) for the games from 03/21/10…

The first game of the night is an East/West battle as the Indiana Pacers (EC 4th Central) play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder (WC 3rd NW) in what is the second (of two) matches between the teams, with the first one having gone to OK City. In this one we should be seeing power forward Tyler Hansbrough, but as I just wrote about a day or so ago, it does not seem that this year’s lottery picks for the Pacers will be back in uniform until the `10-`11 season. As far as the game was concerned this one belonged to the Pacers, who defeated Oklahoma City by 20 points, with the final being 121 to 101, evening out the small series. With the win the Pacers go to 24-46 overall (. winning percentage), 17-16 at home (.515 winning percentage) and are in 11th place in the East, 11.0 games out of the playoff race.

As far as the game was concerned it was Sacramento taking this one, defeating LA by 13 points, with the final score being 102 to 89.
