Once again it is time to check on the players that used to play at the Dean Dome and now are playing in the NBA arenas. The schedule for last night, Thursday, February 4, 2010 was truly small, as only two games were on tap. One of them had a touch of Carolina Blue, and once again there were no head to head match ups (making this the second night in a row that happened). The one and only game of the night has the Cleveland Cavaliers (EC 1st Central) playing host to the Miami Heat (EC 4th Southeast). A game that was played at the Quicken Loans Arena in front of a sold out crowd that numbered 20,562 (max capacity: 20,562). For the home team we have Jawad Williams (26 Games: 11.5 MinsPG ~ 3.8 PPG ~ 1/3 RPG ~ 0.6 APG) and Danny Green (13 Games: 5.2 MinsPG ~ 2.5 PPG ~ 0.6 RPG ~ 0.2 APG), who both get minutes in this game. Williams, who starts in this game and plays for 16 minutes scores just two points on the night (0 for 4 ~ 0 for 3 ~ 2 for 2) to go with two rebounds, an assist, a steal, a block and a pair of turnovers. The forward had a +7 pts differential in the game. Green, who comes off the bench for 15 minutes, scores five points (2 for 4 ~ 1 for 3 ~ 0 for 0) to go with two boards and an assist while having a pts differential of -4. The game is the tenth win in a row for Cleveland, who defeated Miami by 16 points, with the final score being 102 to 86. With the win the Cavs are now 40 and 11 overall (.784) and 21 and 3 at home (.875 winning percentage). Cleveland holds the top spot in the East, six games ahead of the second place squad.
