Way late thanks to the weather that made going and coming from the hospital a lot longer than usual, here is the recap from the games of Saturday, January 2, 2010. Since in all there are nine games with a touch of carolina blue (out of 12 games in all) this “Heels in the League” (NBA) will be split into two parts so that it’s not too long. So, without further ado let’s get going with this recap from 01/02/10…
The first game for the night is the one that has the Cleveland Cavaliers heading east to take on the New Jersey Nets at the IZOD Center in front of 17,569 (max capacity: 19,990). For the visiting team it’s the tandem of Jawad Williams and Danny Greeen, with Williams getting a minute of playing time, where he scores no points (0 for 1 ~ 0 for 0 ~ 0 for 0) and has nothing else to show for it, with a -3 pts differential for the game. Green is not even dressed for the game and as such does not see any action in this one. As far as the game is concerned it’s a pretty low scoring game, with Cleveland taking it, defeating New Jersey by the final of 94 to 86. With the win the Cavs are now 27 and 8 for the season (.771 winning percentage).
