The first game of the night has the Florida Marlins (NL East) starting a three game series with the New York Mets (NL East) at Citi Field in a divisional showdown. For the Marlins we should be seeing pitcher Andrew Miller but he didn’t take the mound in this one. As far as the game was concerned it was NY winning this one big time, defeating Florida by the final of 7 to 1.

The second game of the night is a match up between the Colorado Rockies (NL West) and the Milwaukee Brewers (NL Central) played at Miller Park in front of a crowd of 45,808. For the Rockies it’s catcher Chris Iannetta, who starts and goes 0 for 2 with two walks in the game, As far as the game was concerned it was Colorado winning this one, defeating Milwaukee by the final tally of 5 to 3.
