A much better performance on this day from the ex Diamond Heels at the plate (after truly being bad yesterday), with plenty of players (both in the Major and the minors) not just getting hits, but getting extra bases hit. The only ex Carolina player to make it onto the mound just did a small stint (less than an inning), but got a great vote of confidence as his team told anyone listening that he is not tradeable.
