As I try and back track from the days (or I could even say week) I have not been on the blog too much I find a couple of great nuggets about Tyler Hansbrough and his experience with basketball after Chapel Hill. First, did you know that the young man from Poplar Bluff has a blog? Well if you didn’t check it out. In it he talks about returning for his senior year, what he has been working on and the trip to the White House. A nice read, especially when you think it’s an inside look at someone who is going to be a pro in the not so distant future. I also found a video interview (done by the awesome basketball site Draft Express) of the power forward from the Chicago Pre Draft Camp…

With Hansbrough’s stock moving up somewhat (even if I am still on record that he won’t go before the 20th pick), all of this can only help him. The way this young man acts on and off the court, along with his work ethic, there is no way he is going to be a failure at the next level. As I have said many times, he might not be the super star that others in this draft will be (and realistic when I say others it’s not a big number), but he could certainly be the missing link to a team trying to go from mediocre to good, or from good to very good. Without a doubt more will come out as Hansbrough does his work outs and whenever I find a tid bit about him (or any of the other three from Chapel Hill) I will be sure to put it up as soon as possible. Until then all the best to Tyler in these work outs!
