After Danny Green came back from the short exile to the NBDL (where he only spent two games there) I thought that things would get better for the guard/forward combo for the rest of the season, but reading an article by the Cleveland Plain Dealer that might not be the case at all. Actually the national champion from last year staying in the Development League might have been a better solution compare to what could happen to him. From the sounds of it, before the Cavaliers bring back their big man Zydrunas Ilgauskas (traded to Washington in the Antawn Jamison deal) they are going to let go of someone, and from the sounds of it the two candidates are either Danny Green or Darnell Jackson. Reading more into all of this the main reason why these two players are in this situation (compared to others) is that neither has a guaranteed contract for next season. As I do with all the Heels let me wish all the best to Danny Green as this story develops and that he either remains with the Cavs or finds another place (probably in the NBDL) to play right away.
