Good Morning Tar Heels 07/03/09

As we get ready to have a real long weekend, I guess we need to also have a nice link dump for the long weekend, and so here is the next edition of “Good Morning Tar Heels”, where I give some shout outs to UNC sites, links to friends of The Fifth Corner and even check if there are any Tar Heels that have birthdays today (which unfortunately there are none on this date). The best place to get all of your stories with a touch of carolina blue is Tar Heel Times. James does not just have the web site, but also a web board where plenty of Heels fans (including yours truly) talk about anything and everything Carolina.

I found a video on Lake Show Life about Snoop Dog and his ride. This is definitely one of these links where a pictures tells a 1,000 words. So imagine how many words it would take if it’s a video! Check it out, worthwhile!

At Bootlegger Sports they have put together the odds for each NBA franchise to win the 2010 title. Very cool, especially when you think the season just ended. Only question I have is this: if the Celtics get Wallace would the odds for the Boston team change? guess who is at the bottom.

Paneech is in a giving mood, as he does Christmas In July : What Sibling Athletes Will Be Looking For. Not bad, but man o man, I wanted something too from Santa! Kidding aside, great piece!
