Since I have not been keeping up with (not so) daily link dump, let me try to do a big one to catch up some by doing a big time “Good Morning Tar Heels”. For those of you that don’t remember, I will see if any Tar Heels are enjoying their birthdays today, if so I will give them a shout out, then I will give a few shout outs to Tar Heels I know (from blogging or other venues) and then finally, the links that I like from friends of The Fifth Corner (so make sure to check them out!). But, without further ado, let’s get this edition of “Good Morning Tar Heels”…
The Tar Heel Shout Outs:
First one goes to Rob Moore, who you can follow on Twitter and can check out in this interview he did with me on The Fifth Corner a couple of days ago.
The second one goes to James at Tar Heel Times. Without a couple of visits to that site I feel like I didn’t do enough to be a Tar Heel! So make sure you check it out as well, and while you are at it, check out their Web Board/Forum.
The Linkage:
Over at ArrowHead Addict there is a cool story about the QB’s of the Chiefs.
One of my favorite sites, Paneech, has a great story about Tim Lincecum having a career high 15 K’s vs Pirates. Well if Pittsburgh keeps selling more players Lincecum could do better next time.
Detroit4Lyfe has a story about am ump missing a call. Is it me or is this type of blog/thread becoming more and more popular? Time for someone to step up and make them accountable!
Over at TonyBlogs there is a good post about the NFL making the right move in reinstating Vick. I could agree with that, the problem is that while he is back, I don’t get how long he will have to sit before he can play. I think the comsish should have been a bit more specific.
While this has nothing to do with sports, it has a lot to do with life. At PWNED Videos (aka Ethan) there is a cool cartoon how to make our generation (and our kids’ generation) make a break from the Combo Meals. Not sure if Ronald is going to like this, but hey, let him deal with the Combo Breaker!
BootLegger Sports wrote a very interesting story about Colt McCoy and how he has an insurance policy on his legs (and he is not the only one).
