Good Evening & Good Linking 05/21/09
Ok everyone, welcome back to the second edition of “Good Evening & Good Linking”, the animated post where I ask a question on twitter or on some web boards I go to and then link any and all that gave me an answer to the question. Today’s question is simple: who is going to win the game between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers. Got plenty of answers from twitter, so that mean we are going to have double digit links tonight (wtg everyone). As usual, since this is an animated post, check out the video below first and then go ahead and see all the great web sites I have linked to.
First blogger to make his prediction is Orange Chuck, going with Denver, and while he is in hiatus with his web site, you can follow him on his twitter page. Another Denver fan is Ethan, and if he picks games as well as he has videos on his NESW site, the Nuggets are going to win. Spaz Sports also agrees with the first two and answered my question with a Denver baby. Check out their web page cause it’s cool baby!
Well, after that small hill, here come the mountain that picked for the home team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Sharapova’s Thigh did, but he believes it will be close. 97 to 96, and while you are at it, check out their own type of tournament. What’s not close is how good his web site his, so check it out, NOW! The No Look Pass also goes with the Lakers, and I say go with him to his web site, worth your time, where they have their newest podcast. The Zoner is also going with the home team, thinking they will win by the final 102 to 96, and in the meantime let me say good luck to The Zoner on his upcoming challenge. While the huge community of blogger, AOL Fan House, has given me their score, 100 to 94, and then we have MacG_OG who is saying that LA will win this one by double digits, 110 to 95, and I am saying check out his picture of the day.
The other three bloggers going with the Lakers are Nat, from Heels on Hardwood, saying LA by 8. She also has a great article about the near future of her Raptors. While Chris Illuminati is picking the Lakers to win by 7. I will be picking to give you his web site, and you will be picking to check it out. And finally JE Skeets of Ball Don’t Lie (Yahoo Sports) is going with Los Angeles by 6.5 (wonder what the .5 is all about, but hey it’s his prediction). And check out his small post that has a picture that tells a lot more than a 1,000 words. Talk Hoops goes even lower, LA by 4, and predicts another great game. His post to check out is one that is a must read in my opinion, as it’s “deep” to say the least, or at least we could say “it’s getting deeper“, the ditch that is.
There are five late arrivals, four are going with Denver, while one is going with the blogger’s favorite, LA. For Denver it’s Sports Crackle Pop, who has a cool site, check it out, with a nice look at the pre season over/under for the NFL teams. Will Brinson, another without a site, but you can check out his twitter page, picks Melo & Co. and says “he may or may not like the Heels”. What is that all about? The GNC also goes with the mile high city, and you should go check out their site where he has ten things he knows about the movies. Brain on Funk is also going with the guest team (that is probably why he has wallpaper of the birdman for anyone to take on his site), and that means that the total right now is: LA with 9 votes and Denver catching up with 8. But it’s back to LA now, as NBA Tipoff has them winning this one, saying that Karl’s team will come out shooting well, but that Kobe and Company will respond. And I bet that he also thinks LeBron and his man bag won’t be the Lakers. Lastly, just off the press, Chris Mottran, from Mr. Irrelevant, says “I won’t be watching, but I’ll go with L.A. I hear they’re good”. I have heard the same thing, and that is why I am also going with Los Angeles. Chris is missing the game, but in his post we see someone miss every cut off man possible.

Thanks for the link brah. My prediction was looking spot on in the first quarter.
Most welcome, anytime you have something you want to be linked leave me an DM on twitter or a PM on BallHype.

Well, it happens to us all (picking the wrong team). Heck, if we could pick right all the time there would be no Las Vegal (lol).
