Football Special Dates announced…
As the basketball team works its way towards the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament, the baseball team working its way into the thick of the season, and everything else going on I am doing a football post! Yes, it’s time to check out what the official web site for UNC Athletics calls “Football Special Dates”. Since it was on the site, even if it has nothing to do with this post, and since this is my number one place for Tar Heel information let me mention that the season football season tickets are now on sale on the site (don’t have a link for that). Finished up with the advertising, here is the list:
Football Lettermen & Varsity Monogram Day on September 18 versus Ga Tech.
Family Day on October 9 vs. Clemson.
Homecoming on October 30 against William and Mary (who have Mike Paulus on their roster now).
North Carolina High School Athletic Association Day on November 13 against Va Tech.
Rams Club Day on November 20 vs. N.C. State.

I cannot wait until the season starts. I am thinking about going to ATL for the LSU game…
Smitty, I’ll be in the ATL as well. Tickers already reserved through Ram’s Club and we’re wrapping up hotel hunting. I don’t like the timing of the NCHSAA Day because that means its going to be a day game. I’d like to see the VT game as a night spot. Perhaps it will be pretty meaningful and ESPN will give it a bump.
