Ex Carolina swing man Danny Green has signed with agent Bill Duffy to represent him in the NBA Draft. At least that is the case according to an online piece by Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal. With Green finally having an agent all four players from Chapel Hill that are entering the draft are reppresented, and while it’s probably nothing earth shattering, it’s funny that none went with the same agent. If I am not mistaken neither did Sean May, Raymond Felton, Rashad McCants and Marvin Williams in 2005. Tyler Hansbrough has Jeff Schwartz (Excel Sports Management), Ty Lawson chose Jeffrey Field (Peake Management Group) and Wayne Ellington went with Arn Tellem (Wasserman Media Group).
Couple of interesting tid bits about the agents of the Tar Heels. Such as Hansbrough going with the same firm as the one that Blake Griffin is going with and with the same agent as A.J. Price. Wayne Ellington has the same agent as Gerald Henderson of Duke. Will be looking around during the weekend if there have been more scheduled work outs for the four ex Tar Heels as the NBA Draft draws near. Also, today or tomorrow I will be doing my rounds of the mocks and (yes it’s happening) will be putting together my own mock draft as well.
