Checking in with the Mocks: All four Heels
Another week and it’s once again time to check out what the many mock drafts are saying about the four young men from Chapel Hill. As usual I will check out the most recent drafts, as well as the ones that are friend with The Fifth Corner, and hopefully have in the neighborhood of fifteen drafts. That should give us a pretty good idea of what the blogger’s world is saying about Tyler Hansbrough, Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Danny Green. Just remember that some drafts are going to be both rounds, while others are going to just have one round, I will post how many rounds they are next to the name of draft. I can see Lawson as a lottery pick.

I believe Lawson will be a heckuva pro because of his speed and demeanor. Being a pretty decent shooter helps out too. I’m not saying perennial All-Star, but 12 -14 years in the league, something like 14ppg and 8 assists.
I definitely see Lawson as a lottery pick (and if not he wont be out of the mid teens). I think he is going to be a good player at the next level and he will definitely be someone that can run a club for a head coach who is willing to give it to a young man. The key for Lawson (like most other players), he has to go to a team that plays his type of game.

If you compare last years stats of Danny Green vs Gerald Henderson there isn’t alot of difference except Danny had better defensive stats. Danny was the 4th option on a national championship team where Henderson was the 1st or second option on Dook. So why people are saying Henderson should be a lottery pick & Danny might go undrafted in some mock drafts is beyond me. I think whoever gets him will end up with a steal and a hell of a great player.
