Checking in on the Mocks: Wayne Ellington
Yesterday we checked out fifteen mock drafts about Ty Lawson. This morning we did the same for his backcourt partner, Wayne Ellington. The junior shooting guard seem to have a bit more of a range when it comes to where he will land that Lawson did. Two of the sites (out of 15) have him going in the lottery, two others having him going in the teens, three have him going into the early twenty’s, six have him going in the mid to high twenty’s, while two have him going in the second round. I will go out on a limb here and say that I truly believe that Ellington’s name will be heard before the second round begins, but as far where he does go in those first 30 picks, I would say that early 20’s is where I see him going. EDIT: In a small online article I see that Ellington has hired agent Arn Tellem, who has other ex Heel Sean May and Antwan Jamison as clients.
